On occasion a Border Terrier needs help to be re-homed. The reasons can vary.  Our local club along with our national club is very dedicated to making sure that no Border Terrier is left homeless. After owning a Border Terrier one naturally becomes protective, and we all become the eyes and ears for the breed.  Many club members have become dedicated in helping with the ongoing BT rescue around the country. Re-homing can turn out to be a wonderful way to bring a BT into your life or someone else's life.
The following contacts are people dedicated to keeping our breed safe and out of harms way. They are our special protectors of the breed and they are the unsung hero's, often working behind the scenes using their own time and money. Donations to the rescue fund are always gladly accepted. In March of 2001 our BTCR Club President, Cindy Ashlock, passed away from cancer. Cindy left behind two Border Terriers, Conner and Eddie. Both dogs have both been re-homed.
The club reassured Cindy that her dogs would be cared for and a fund has been created. Eddie has some health issues and needs special medical care. Your generous contributions have and will continue to fulfill Cindy's wish.
Please send contributions to the club treasurer
